A database driven website of traditional Spanish recipes passed down from mother to daughter, then to the internet viewing public
The main objectives of the website were simple: (1) That users could easily find the recipes they were looking from more than 700 published, and (2) That Pilar could upload and manage the recipes intuitively through a custom built control panel.
Talking with Pilar, we opted for an attractive presentation of the recipes, using photos of the dishes. The visualization of each recipe had to be clean with easy-to-follow text, so we opted for full-screen texts with a lot of contrast between colors.
The control panel allows Pilar to upload the recipes in a comfortable and intuitive way: Adding the description, ingredients and cooking instructions along with a photo of the dish. SEO tags and search filters are generated automatically from the information she enters.
